A Homemade Bow Drill

When I asked Joe if it was a firestarter, he concurred, then let me film this quick demonstration:

That’s a type of bow drill, apparently called a “pump drill” fire starter. It’s a lot more efficient than trying to twirl a stick between your palms and create a coal.

Though it may not be the simplest method of starting a fire, it sure beats stealing poor Piggy’s glasses.
