If I’m ever blessed with lots of time and nothing urgent, I might start making wooden spoons.

I think beach hibiscus might be a good wood to try. The grain is tight and it’s readily available locally. Maybe I’ll make one of those soup-stirring spoons. You know, the long ones for cooking.
