It's quite an honor. Something to tell the grandkids about. Congratulations! Reply Survival Gardener, AKA David the Good August 30, 2013 - 9:15 pm ME: "Hey, David IV. When I was YOUR age, I'd already had my picture printed in Mother Earth News magazine!" GRANDKID: "What's a magazine?" Reply Herrick Kimball September 1, 2013 - 1:32 am David, Funny, but probably true. Either the internet will dominate and wipe out most printed publications, or the industrial system will collapse so far that the presses won't work, and no one will care because they'll be so busy trying to grow food. Reply eli September 1, 2013 - 10:21 pm I saw this too – very cool! As much as I love the internet etc, there's nothing better than a "real" magazine and a "real" hardcover book. And Mother Earth News magazine is one of my favorites – thanks to you (and your blog for turning me onto it). Reply Survival Gardener, AKA David the Good September 2, 2013 - 4:23 am I agree. I bought a Nook… read ebooks on it for a while… then quit. It sits on a shelf collecting dust. Reply chrissy bauman September 5, 2013 - 12:47 pm i agree that it's much more fun to pretend you're in the jungle as well. besides, yards in florida shouldn't look like the pages of better homes and gardens. plants just don't like that kind of treatment! Reply Survival Gardener, AKA David the Good September 5, 2013 - 6:07 pm Darn right! Reply Phyllis Franklin November 20, 2014 - 3:46 pm I saw this when it first came out! How cool are you?
