I don’t think this bamboo is a clumper…
The original plant is the 3′ tall clump at the bottom right of the photo. I planted it a couple of years ago and have no idea where I originally got it, though I thought I had obtained a nice clumping type.
Last year it grew a couple of feet upwards from its original height of about a foot… then this spring it totally surprised me by putting up these massive canes.
Running bamboo is incredible stuff.
Guess it’s time to close down my nursery, give up on the food forest and move. Hehhehheh.
Good luck getting rid of it! yikes!
I think I'll throw myself on one of the spears.
Are you interested in selling some of this?
Sure. I have a good running cane bamboo in my nursery.
Sounds great I appreciate it. I'll give you a call in the next 2 weeks to see about coming over to pick some up. Thanks again, this will work fantastically. Just an update the Casava you sold me is doing great. It's really coming to life.
CUDZOO (SPELLING IS PROBABLY WRONG) IS A TERRIBLE INVASIVE PLANT. BY THE WAY I’M NOT YELLING. I SEE CAPS BETTER. DO YOU HAVE ANY ARTICLES ON CUDZOO? THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME. TAKE CARE. JUANITA MARENKA
