Yesterday I promised I’d share pictures of Wendy’s beautiful St. Petersburg garden.
When she wrote to ask about sources for free, safe, mulch, she also sent me a bunch of garden pictures and then graciously agreed to let me share them with you all.

Lots of mulch gives you nice soil. Keeping the ground covered, particularly in Florida, is very important for preserving fertility.

Late February – opossum in the compost bed – taking the cantaloupe bait:
March / April – compost bed becomes massive volunteer squash bed (8’ x 4’)

Nice looking gardens!

Piff. No flowers. My husband keeps trying to make me grow something non-edible, but so far I have forestalled him. :p
I love “Peeping” into other people’s gardens! WTG Wendy!
